Greeting from Holiday Inn Express!
Mr Liow was worried I'll go hungry today while he attends a meeting at Mesa today so we went to Walmart and did lots of instant/ microwaveable food shopping last evening.
Came back with 4 packs of frozen pastas, and lots of instant noodles that come in both soup or dried variations, and Campbell cream soup that only needs heating up in the microwave, something that we do not have in Singapore (those in Singapore needs to be cooked over the stove).
We had a hard time finding instant noodles. There was only 1 brand on display at the Oriental Food section of Walmart and we had no choice but to take 2 of each flavour, till we came to a section that was dedicated to "Cup-O-Soup" where there were lots of other brands and types of instant noodles! With more choices on hand, we headed back to return those noodles we took earlier. Boring flavours those were. hee!
Once back to the hotel, I had Japanese Terriyaki Noodles and Mr Liow, Chicken Alfredo Pasta and Chicken Flavoured Instant Soup noodles. The Terriyaki noodles was so tasty and cheap at $0.88.
The picture above showed the one in Thai Peanut Flavour coz I forgot to take a picture of the Terriyaki one. I expect this shld not fare any worse than the one I liked! I'll make sure we ship some back in 2 yrs' time. hehe.
And for lunch just now, I had Lemon Pepper Fish with broccoli and dessert all in one pack!
Tasted good, and healthy (at 4.5g of fats only! I've had at least 10g of fats each meal everyday since I came, and have put on 1.5kg!)
Guess what I also found? Frozen snack for dogs!! I checked the labels. No mention of added sugar. BM are going to be happy here. Snacks in a different form. How cool!
