Nothing much in particular that we've done for the past week.
Highlights would have to be that Mr Liow, in his part time job as our gardener, broke a scissors when he tried to trim the overgrowth in our garden. It was a matter of time the scissors give up coz that was a pair of scissors for papers, not thick branches. hehe.
We've gotten a proper pair of scissors for the plants since.
Where were we....ok, I can't recall where this was taken. I was trying to take a picture with AN but look at her papaya face? hmm.... 'dao' like the father right?
Not to forget, another highlight of the week was, Mr Liow had a hair cut. Not by me tho. This was him before the haircut. The 'after' pictures will come later. I've a feeling he'd not let me take any pictures of him for the next few months till hair grows back. He's got a new 'recruit' hairstyle. hehe.
Just a while ago, AN insisted on wearing a rubber band on her wrist like I do. I put the rubber band on my wrist for my convenience so that I could tie my hair back when I'm cooking. This little mini just wants to imitate.
She's telling me to "See?" again. She's just trying to show off her new accessory.
The next person who has to 'see' her new accessory: Baileys.
Shrek-ears! Once upon a time, she had no control over the Shrek-ears we put on her head. Now she decides when she wants it on or off her head.
Breastfed babies do not have to drink water. Anyone who hears this for the 1st time will freak out and question the logic behind it.
Breastfed babies, like all living things, NEED water to survive. It's only a matter of when they start drinking water. AN has never had a sip of water in her 1st 6 months of life.
*edited: Ok, I lied. She had lots of water one day long time ago and choked coz someone insisted on it. sigh...double sigh.. Ok, that was past.*
AN, since she starting eating semi-solids, started drinking water as well, but only during meal times. Now I fill her bottle and whenever she feels like drinking, she'll go get her own bottle and sip away.
Babies get intrigued by new stunts, even simple ones.
An has outgrown every single pair of shoes we brought with us from sgp. That was fast coz when we came, the largest pair of shoes she had from Fox Baby was still a little too big for her.
So there we were during the weekends, shoe-hunting with her. I was at one end of the store and Mr Liow at the other end. We were trying to make good use of the walking baby. hehe. She needs to earn her own keeps you know?
Being 'useful' meant she had to help by bringing shoes that I thought felt comfy, to MR Liow who then helped to try them on her. And then she walked back to me again for more 'shoe-candidates' while we observe if she was walking nicely in those shoes. hehe.

Dear, for you as keepsake.
