Realised I've not done a photo summary of AN since birth till date like I've done for Baileys & Maen during each of their birthdays.
She's grown so much over that 15 months, coming 16. She's really attached to me now, esp when it's bedtime or when she's feeling tired. At Mr Liow's encik's place last wkend, another of his encik casually reminded us to treasure the closeness now. Come one fine day, she's going to spend more time out with her friends than us. He's nursing an empty nest syndrome now as his daughter who's in her teens is, like we used to, out there with her friends more often than she is at home with them.
Hearing that, it does make me much much more appreciative of AN's attachment to me. You know, it will never last. My daughter will not be mine forever. Someday, she will grow up and belong to someone else...
Just hours before this, she opened up my Dior blusher. It's loose-powder form in a container and when she managed to twist it open, half of what was inside spilled out. I expected myself to be upset coz it was my blusher! And it was my DIOR BLUSHER!
I wasn't a least bit upset tho. hee. I watched as she ran her finger into the powder on the floor, making abstract drawings. She was so fascinated by this new 'game' which she invented on her own and even looked up telling me: "See?"
I picked her up and jokingly told her: "You spilled mummy's blusher and mummy 'xin tong' but coz mummy loves you, mummy's not angry." I then gave her a peck on her baby cheeks. I don't know why but I was overwhelmed by love for her there and then.
Her reactions came as a really sweet surprise to me. She looked at me while I was saying those words to her and when I asked, "Do you love mummy?", she gave me a 'muack' on my shoulder (I was carrying her on my hips) and laid her head onto my chest.
That was sweet (^__^)
Any mummy would have melted at that. Didn't matter to me at that point whether she did that coz she understood what I was saying or whether it was coincidental.
Anyway, below are some pictures of my baby whom I'm falling in love with day after day since the day she arrived:

Once upon a time, these were her hands that we see but are unable to touch. Taken in Dec 2006, 4 months before she was born.
The face, her impressionable identity since months before
Her butt. keke.
1st meeting. Confirmed fresh. Look at the blood on her nose!
15th April 2007
Her 1st cries
Dressed for the 1st time in her life
Settling into the same routine, blissfully unaware she's nowhere inside the cosy womb that used to be home
2 days later on 17th April 07, her 1st day back home to Fernvale Lane
21st April, back to hospital for photolight to treat her jaundice.
10 days old Adrielle Nicole Liow
13 May 07, the day after her baby bash.
Same day at Jean Yips, for her 1st hair cut.
Ta-da! The beginning of those hairless moments
At 2 months old
3rd month. Signs of showing interest in gadgets.

She'll be 16 months old this 15th of August so I've not have a picture for the update as yet (I'm trying to put pictures of her as close to the 15th of each month as possible). When time permits, I'll post videos of her from birth but that will take ages to load. Else I'd probably select a random few to post.
Seriously, those with kids or furkids, for that matter, do take loads of pictures and videos as possibly as you can. They grow like nobody's business.....
