Finally I have someone pay ME a visit at home. haha! I felt like an unloved hermit all these while, till one of Mr Liow's colleague's wife who had questions about makeup came over to see what I have and to find out more. The rest who came, came for Mr Liow *sob*
For once my knowledge came in handy in Tucson.
It was nice chatting with her. I'm not one who makes friend easily and was worried she'd not feel at home when she came. Was really thankful that we were on the same frequency & could clique, even tho we were not always on the topic of cosmetics.
Baileys & Maen were well behaved when she came. Surprisingly both did not bark at her (yes! Maen has learnt to bark at the mailman & people who drop by our place since we got here, and Baileys as usual barks at a selection few when they step into the house.). Both allowed her to pat them after less than a minute of 'knowing' her without shunning or jumping away.
AN was also welcoming. I think AN likes visitors. She's been showing this sweet and generous side of her to people who step in, offering them her toys and 'teaching' them how to play with them. She was also very willing to help offer guests cans of drinks without snatching them back wor (I thought she would likely snatch the drinks back instead of being sincere about offering those drinks).
She willingly helped me fetch ALL my cosmetics (some of which I've even forgotten about!) to show Auntie Joey while I did the explanations. She was like my little helper. hmm...She helped to keep opening up EVERY container that she felt she could open. *shakes head*.
We came to a point where she got bored and instead of whining, she went to get the remote controller to the TV and passed it to Auntie Joey. She wanted to watch the TV and sat there watching Disney Channel while we continued till Joey had to leave.
AN then helped me put the whole mess back to their original places, wherever I showed her. She was more than willing to help wor (I am really surprised by her behaviour today). hmm...
But she's still having a problem with food. She's eaten sooo little for today!
Anyway, I'll be meeting Joey to shop at MAC (what can be better than this?) one of these days.
Sad thing is, the whole family will be leaving in December, so our friendship will be a rather short-lived one.

Sometimes mum really very peifu of how awesome you are, from having Baileys, then Maen, then baby AN, and how you almost wanted to get someone to foster BM... and finally bringing BM to Tucson!
Mum's been reading up some new mothers' blogs and some mothers seems to 'regret' having a kid :-(
Just for sharing lah.. does this new mother sound very depressed? Izzit those post-natal blues tat they call it?(http://pricky.blogspot.com/)
Wags,
Cocoa and Barley
I'm a whiny mummy too. First couple of months in their lives hv never been easy (for all 3 , longer for AN), so I complain a lot, and contemplate the unthinkable many times. hee.
some mums, esp new ones, do 'regret' having a child, esp in the 1st few months of the child's life. Imagine not being able to do what u like or hv been doing, making so much change, losing sleep and all.
Ya that mummy does sound angry. At this point, the hubby's has to make adjustments now tt he's upgraded to becoming a daddy. A hubby can sit there watch TV whole day while wife cleans the house. Ok. But a daddy can't.
Easier for me tt time coz my hubby helped a lot with housework and me breastfeeding. BF-ing for 1st time is tough, n many times coz hubbys/MILs/Parents r nt supportive, the mummy ends up nt being able to give bb the best.
And ya, somehow aft birth, me too got very depressed n felt like crying all the time, whether or nt there's a reason. It's quite common i realised!
