When someone helps you despite being VERY busy himself, be appreciative.
Someone may not have experience with what he's helping you with and acts upon your order.
Someone takes time to check with you things he doesn't seem to find right, but goes ahead with others that he trusted, should not be wrong.
Does it help by saying that he's "too honest" (it's obvious she meant "stupid" instead if you listened close enough for her pattern of thought.) when he:
1) Has no time to check with us and goes ahead with it coz we can trust IRAS, couldn't we? What are the odds that IRAS can be wrong?
2) Has to wait till the next time he's free to check with us (be understanding..he has his own things to do too in his free time and I know he's aware of the urgency of certain matters) and by then, we'd probably end up with a fine for late payment..point 1 seems logical enough to to go ahead anyway.
3) Has totally no idea about what he's helping us pay for, and with points 1 and 2, it makes sense to pay.
That's NOT the only thing he's helping us with.
Every other bill payment, every other letters he receives on our behalf (AN's stemcord, BM's AVA, Starhub, HDB, IRAS, Bank...wat-other-nots), he has to help us sort and pay if necessary.
He works an afternoon shift on one day, a 24hours shift immediately the next day and gets only a day off after that. The cycle repeats itself.
With that 1 day off, he should go do whatever he wants to do, or rest the whole day.
He helps us with those admin matters in the only day off after those hectic working hours. It's almost like taking up a part time job with no pay.
All the thanks for his time, energy and effort was doubt of his intelligence and lack of appreciation?
COME ON!
