For some reasons, part of the brush melted.
He was going around when he stopped and asked me to clean his brushes which I did and noticed the plastic end of the brush didn't look quite right. I went ahead to clean it and started him off to complete the rest of his cleaning cycle but he stopped moving and asked me to clean him again in less than 5 mins.
I checked the brushes. They were clean! It must have been the melted plastic part that caused the malfunction.
I couldn't access the online help service and called the number on the website but no one picked my call up. Was glad I had the email address in my address book stored previously and sent them an email asking for help, to which they replied they couldn't help (was alry not very happy coz this is only the 2nd day! And now they reply they can't help?? Who can?). They gave me another number to call for help which I did.
Thank God!
The service staff on the other end was really helpful. She said it was not supposed to melt, asked for some colour codes and after which, offered to send me a replacement module at no extra cost. hehe. That was a new module with new set of brushes so I didn't even need to get new brushes for the one that melted.
I took a closer look this morning and saw that the plastic end did not melt. It was distorted and that part of the cleaning module where the brush was attached to was, too. It was either like that when it came, or got distorted coz of the much fur and hair.
If it was due to the fur and hair, I'd return this and get a lower end one..This is only day 2. Wear and tear CANNOT happen. Not when I cleaned it more than suggested (they suggested after every cleaning cycle. I cleaned it during the cleaning cycle and after it was completed).
So, I'm waiting for his new organ. Hope that's going to solve the problem for good.
