She remembers the sequence of events by heart.
AN really loves watching Shrek. It's been almost a month since she watched Shrek. I stopped allowing her to watch coz of the main incident: when we prayed, she was sure we were praying to the fairy 'godmother'. Now that we're back on track again and she asked, I gave in.
She still remembers every scene, from donkey flying up into the air and then falling (she tells me what happens after each thing we see), to imitating Shrek and donkey laughing with their legs kicking high in the air even before they actually do.
Alphabet/ Word Recognition
If she puts her heart into learning her alphabets, she will probably recognise every letter by now.
Still, I'm thankful for everything that she's learnt this far. True that there are many other kids who already can recognise every letter of the alphabet at a younger age than AN but no, I do not want to start comparing and adding pressure to AN. I don't want to start.
Here's to just keep a record so that we remember, and so that we can tell AN what she did at this age when she grows up :)
AN has finally learnt to recognise a few letters. She knows A, B, C & O. Sometimes she gets D right, sometimes she thinks P is D. Once in a while she gets other letters right but other than those 4 letters mentioned, most of her other letter recognition do not remain consistent enought to mean she really recognises them now.
Her word recognition remains at only 3 since the last time: Dog, Cat and Owl.
