Feverish

Her fever's been going up and down. The highest was peaked at 38.6 deg celcius and we noticed her body temperature went up each time she slept. It was 37.2deg celcius an hour ago. Her usual body temperature is abt 36.8 deg cel.

Can anyone advise if we should dress her less (we're in aircondition whole day so I've been putting on long sleeves top for her and shorts)?

The folks used to wrap us in blanket and tell us that we'll be fine once we perspire but I've read that we should actually be looking at being sponged to bring the body temperature down. We've bought fever patches and pasted them all over her hot body (forehead, shoulders and such) in addition to the medication.

As long as she doesn't regain her usual 36.8deg body temperature, I won't be able to stop worrying. 37.2 deg means it may jump anytime to above 38deg again. It just keeps happening leh.

But then again, she's still playing and behaving like she's not sick at all.

Each time we decide that we're going to bring her to see the doctor, her fever will go missing in action, and appear just as we let our guards down.

Ok, fine. We shall keep chanting then. "Let's bring her to the doctor. Let's bring her to the doctor."
