The left and favourite side of AN's milk source is feeling engorged. Not as if she hadn't been drinking from it. In fact, that being her favourite position, she's feeding more from the left side than she is from the other.
I then realised, after a long day, that there seemed to be a blocked duct, so I used the tip of my fingernails and pricked the leastest bit of membrane covering the duct. The "erm" was sore coz she's been sucking hard to get milk out but it wasn't coming out as much as she wanted.
Finally milk is flowing through and the pain wasn't as intense as it was earlier but the soreness is still there, every bit of it.. *sob*
