Potty training part 1: Glimpse of Hope!

I was sitting AN on the potty telling her "pee pee" at the same time.

She kept looking at & patting herself down there while repeating "pee pee" after me. There were no results, so I put her back on a piece of fresh pampers and let her be.

Short while later, she came to me and tell me "pee pee" while touching herself down there on her pampers. I felt her pampers and it was warm! She was either in the process of peeing, or has just peed!

I quickly took her to the potty, stripped the pampers off (there was pee on the newly changed piece of pampers!) and sat her on the potty. Wasn't expecting her to still be peeing, so it was just a motion to let her associate peeing with the potty.

That was exciting! At least she is learning about pee. Even if the idea of potty is still foreign to her, I'm starting to see a tiny glimmer at the end of the potty training tunnel!

AN peed in her potty!!!!! I put her there again 5 mins after she woke up from a nap and she sat there chit-chatting with me.

This potty plays music, like when she pees in it, music will start as a reward.

She gave me a wierd look and stopped chatting with me. Then I thought I heard water trickling into the potty and the music confirmed it! She peed in the potty!!

Next on the potty training list is to have her let me know when she needs to go.

Oh!! She peed again! She didn't tell me tho, but at least she peed when I "shhhhh" her. hehe. She even sang the "shhhh" song with me. Yeah yeah!
