I do know a few other wives of Mr Liow's colleagues but it's not the same.
It's hard for me to find a friend whom I feel comfortable sharing my thoughts with, esp one who also shares similar interests as me. Not in such a short time frame...and now she's leaving.
Joey will be leaving for Singapore tomorrow, so from then on, I'll be all by myself again.
Not that we call or meet up everyday..hmm...Can't exactly find a word to describe the relationship...Am going to miss her :(
Crown Brushes
We've been checking out makeup brushes and decided to order some from Crown Brushes
On our way out yesterday, Mr Liow drove me to Country Inn (where RSAF personnel stay either when they 1st touch down in Tucson or before they leave) to meet up with Joey for a short while to collect the brushes I ordered.
The brushes from the website is cheap, so while keeping my fingers crossed that the brushes will not disappoint me too much, I wasn't too hopeful.
When I felt them yesterday, they were much better than expected. Nothing compared to MAC or my own set of brushes but they were dense and soft enough! And they were relatively heavy. hee.
Quality definately exceeds the price I paid for them.
My only worry is that the ferrules will detach from their handles like those horror stories I heard in forums and youtube. Keeping my fingers crossed that they won't.
Will post pictures of them after I've uploaded pictures of the trip. hehe.
