We're back! Sorry for the lack of updates. We had no internet access in both hotels we stayed in. ;)
Let me recall what we've done for the past 10 days or so..hmm..

19th November
Few days prior to their boarding, we went to check out another boarding venue which was recommended. We didn't really like what we saw. Don't let me mislead you into thinking it's a terrible place tho.
It's not too bad a place but the dogs are ALL behind bars in 'suites sizes' up according to the the owners' choice. The 'suites' looked clean and only dogs from the same family will be housed behind the same bars.
The furkids are let out 5 times a day to roam in sectioned fields and again, only those from the same family share the same field at the same time.
I quite like that idea of having a relatively large field to run and smell around, and not having to worry that they'd get attacked by other dogs....till I saw a Dashchund (no time to check spelling. hehe) shivering in the field. hmm...
The weather is turning cold afterall and what if they forgot that our Baileys and Maen are still out in the open?
We thanked them for their patience in showing us around their compound and brought BM back to Camalot for the next 13 days from the 19th November. hehe. Camalot still seemed way better!
I just couldn't believe how blessed we could be to have found them from a whole list of boarding venues on our 1st week in Tucson. That was a random choice and to date, we still think Camalot is the best boarding place for BM.
Maen happily followed Jim that day when we left them there while Baileys looked back a little before trotting off happily behind the man.
Just couldn't help smiling in ease when we see that coz Baileys is not as receptive of strangers unlike Maen.

Travelling there
Mr Liow drove AN and I to LA. That would be our 1st long drive on our own.
We started out at 9am and reached LA around 8pm.
If you are wondering what took us so long to reach, I'd like to put the blame on Dessert Hill Premium Outlet. hehe.
We reached the outlet at abt 4ish pm. Mr Liow suggested earlier on that if we reached the outlet by 5pm, we would return another day to shop coz we didn't want to have to rush. The sky turns dark by 5pm (or earlier) these days.
Mr Liow was urgently in need of a toilet by the time we got to the outlet and since it was before 5pm, we shopped around a little. There were too much to cover and it got dark too soon. We decided to move on.
Took us almost 2 hours to reach the hotel coz traffic was terrible.
Castle Inn
Looked impressive, just like a castle from the outside.
Inside was so-so only.
We drove out to get some water after feeding AN in the hotel and poor AN puked in the store. Think she was too tired, plus she had her 1st meal of the day only at the END of it. Her stomach probably shrunk and couldn't contain all the food she ate?
Once back to the hotel, we changed and slept....till Mr Liow found a baby cockroach on his bed. I found a bug next to AN's face less than half an hour later (AN & I slept on another bed), then another baby cockroach near AN's ear (so horrifying!! What if it crawled into AN's ear?? eeks...).
Mr Liow was soooo tired, and pissed at what we found on the bed that he stormed off to report our findings to front desk.
We were given a free upgrade to a 'suite'.
Good! Except that things in that 'suite' didn't really function like it should.
The microwave wasn't working, the coffee maker still had a bag of coffee powder in it (housekeeping forgot to wash the coffeemaker? How disgusting!) I tried charging my handphone the whole night, only to realise the wall socket wasn't working and I went out with a near-flat battery in my cellphone the next day.
The room was huge tho, and thankfully we found no more pest.
Mother-in-Law's arrival
Her flight touched down almost an hour before ETA. Thank God we got there earlier but coz there were long queues in the immigration counters, she only got out 2 hours after the flight landed.
Mr Liow's panic got worse as we waited coz he was worried those stuff we got mum to smuggle through (like Ba Kwa) got discovered and he pictured mum being under detention. I joked that if they dared take her things away, she would make life difficult for them.
Anyway she arrived safe and sound by the Grace of God.
Disneyland Theme and Adventure Park
I have little impression of both parks seriously, and sadly so.
We visited the Theme Park on the 1st day (23rd Nov) and took only very few rides while AN slept. When awake, AN need our presence, even tho MIL was with her (needs to give AN time to warm up to her).
She was super cranky on the 2nd day at Adventure Park!
Both Mr Liow and I were very sure it was coz the park was too crowded and it was overwhelming for her coz she wasn't that bad the day before at the Theme Park which was less crowded.
We didn't get to enjoy most of the rides like the day before, worse this day coz it was sooooooo packed I didn't feel like queueing for any of the rides at all. And the rides weren't as thrilling as those at Movieworld in Gold Coast *sob*
Took lots of pictures tho. MIL got a new camera and shot everything in sight. hehe.
Dessert Hill Outlet visit
Mr Liow and I both confessed that we were looking forward to visiting the outlet. Disneyland was a little disappointing coz it wasn't as thrilling as expected, it was too packed, and AN was too young.
The outlet was huge with branded stuff like Gucci and Burberry. I don’t really fancy branded stuff but there were so many stores there it was rather exciting. hee.
We got ourselves some winter clothings. MIL must have been the happiest woman in the world then coz she bought almost everything in the outlet! hehe. Ok, that was an exaggeration but this is the 1st time I see her buy sooooo many things. She used to be on the thrifty side.
